All You Require for Achieving Longer, Thicker Hair

Here is some fundamental information about our hair extension service.

Installation

Client arrives with clean, dry hair. Extensions installed and styled.
Proper care & maintenance will be discussed, as well as written information to take home.
Schedule appointment for 5 weeks for removal and re-tape of extensions
Base Price: $250, subject to change depending on amount of hair, time spent, etc.

Removal and Re-Tape

5 weeks after initial installation, client will return for removal of extensions so they may be prepared for re-installation.
Client will receive a wash and blow-dry, and schedule their re-installation.
Extensions will be re-taped, reconditioned, and trimmed if necessary.
$100 Removal & Re-tape Fee

Reinstallation

Following the removal and re-taping of extensions, client will return for re-installation of their extensions.
Cost of re-installation will usually be the same as the original installation fee

All extensions are purchased through Artisans’ Salon and Day Spa, must be delivered to the salon, and will remain in the salon when not being worn by guest.
After removal, extensions remain in the building for re-taping.
Guests must adhere to the care instructions given by the stylist, which include product suggestions, to prolong the wear and lifespan of the extensions.

Do's

DO: Deep condition ones a week, concentrating on ends.

DO: Lightly oil the ends after each wash

DO: Use heat protectant and low heat for any hot tools.

DO: De-tangle with wide-tooth comb to avoid tension on scalp and breakage

Don'ts

DON’T: Wash hair for 3 days after installation.

DON’T: Put any product, other than shampoo, on tape. Especially conditioner.

DON’T: Go to bed with wet hair, must be completely dried with a blow dryer.

DON’T: Excessively curl or straighten. The more you use heat or process, the shorter the life of your extensions.
